Why did you start your business?
I started my business to help people’s businesses look “better.” By that I mean that they look authentic, consistent, and professional. I strongly believe there is a connection between how a business looks and how the business owner feel. Looking professional makes you professional.
Who are your ideal clients? Who do you heal or help?
Purpose-driven solopreneurs and small businesses.
How do you help your ideal clients?
In some way or other, I help them look more professional, authentic and consistent. For some, I get to help them with their entire visual branding, creating a logo and a graphic profile. For others, I get to help out with just a single piece of design, but it is a step in the right direction for them. For everyone, I always try to be their graphic coach and aim to guide them in their own graphic efforts.
What’s been your biggest accomplishment in the past six months?
Getting my Broter School of Design of the ground. This has been a very long time dream.
What do you love the most about Celestial University?
I love to belong to the community and take part in the various learning activities. Even if I am not always able to do the monthly themes as thoroughly as I would have wished, I am always aware of what goes on and this means I am conscious of the topic/issue in way I would not have been otherwise. Also, it is great to know I can always go back and repeat something at my own pace, because of the recordings and documentation. It’s like having access to an ever-growing library!
Why have you remained a member of Celestial University?
See my answer above. And it has become part of my professional space. I have found new friends among the students!
How would you describe your business, marketing, and/or mindset before joining Celestial University?
Scattered and mostly guesswork. Very influenced by dudes pushing “bright and shiny objects”.
How would you describe your business, marketing, and/or mindset now that you’re a part of Celestial University?
I have more confidence and thus am comfortable with ME being the person who defines and decides what types of marketing I will do and when. A lot of “shoulds” have been weeded out of my mindset.
