Want to amplify your 30-second introduction or have an additional one ready to share at your next networking event?

If so, here are three tips to help you add a client testimonial into your 30-second introduction:

Focus on client transformation

In your 30-second intro, highlight your client’s journey through these three key steps:

  • Identify the problem your client faced
  • Explain how your solution resolved this problem
  • Share the results your client achieved

I call this the “problem, solution, results” approach, and it’s an effective way to showcase how you’ve positively impacted your clients’ lives!

Keep it concise

Remember, it’s only 30 seconds! Being concise is crucial. Focus on the most compelling aspects—the problem, solution, and results.

Often, when telling a story, we want to include many details such as the client’s name, occupation, and location. However, in your 30-second introduction, you don’t need to delve into those specifics. Stick to the formula mentioned in step one to keep it brief and impactful.

Include a call to action

Every 30-second introduction should include a clear call to action, and when sharing a client testimonial, it’s no different.

For instance, you could say, “Interested in achieving similar results?” Then, outline the exact next step you want your listener to take, such as:

  • Emailing you
  • Visiting your website
  • Scheduling a Discovery Call
  • Downloading a PDF

Be specific! Clarity is key in networking groups as well.
